Description
Alusthetic double sealed recessed aluminium manhole covers are manufactured from high-grade extruded aluminium and designed to provide a strong, discreet, and long-lasting access solution for both internal and external applications. This deeper tray version is ideal where thicker infill materials are required while maintaining a clean, flush finish with the surrounding surface.

This range features an 80mm overall tray depth with a 68mm infill depth, making it suitable for use with block paving, concrete, stone, resin, or tiled finishes. As with all Alusthetic recessed covers, the infill tray incorporates an internal steel reinforcement mesh to maintain rigidity and prevent distortion once filled.
The cover is secured using a double-seal system, where the weight of the infill compresses the tray onto neoprene seals housed within the extruded aluminium frame. This provides an effective barrier against odours and water ingress, while also preventing debris from collecting between the cover and frame for easier access when required.
Access is provided via four corner lifting points, allowing the cover to be removed using compatible lifting keys (sold separately). Manufactured in the UK and tested to BS EN 124, these covers are suitable for pedestrian areas in residential, commercial, and public environments.
