Soft Shims are designed for packing beneath promenade tiles to correct minor unevenness in the substrate, such as overlaps in roofing felt or slight surface variations. Made from soft foam rubber and fully self-adhesive on both sides, they help eliminate rocking tiles and ensure a stable, professional finish.

Usage Guidance
- Use to pack under tiles that rock or sit unevenly before applying PU adhesive.
- Position up to three shims per tile, allowing the shim to project slightly to support the next tile in line.
- Do not remove the lower release tape until ready to fix tiles permanently, preventing premature adhesion.
- Once the row is aligned and rocking eliminated, apply adhesive as normal and then remove release tapes before final positioning.
Important Information
Expect slightly increased PU adhesive usage when shims are used.
Avoid excessive adhesive, as expansion during curing may cause squeeze-out between tiles. Allow any excess to dry before trimming.
Always test a small area first to establish shim quantity and adhesive requirements.
