The Eurodec Coping Stone Fixing Dowel provides a secure mechanical fixing solution for Eurodec concrete coping stones, helping to reduce the risk of movement or detachment caused by wind uplift, imposed loads or deterioration of the mortar bed over time.
Manufactured from stainless steel, the fixing system consists of an L-shaped fixing bracket and dowel, which work together to provide additional security alongside the traditional mortar installation.
The bracket is fixed to the wall within the joint between adjoining coping stones. The coping is then drilled to correspond with the position of the dowel before being installed and the joint pointed with mortar.

Installation
The L-shaped bracket should be securely fixed to the wall within the joint between the coping stones. The corresponding coping stones are then measured and drilled to receive the dowel before being installed and the joints pointed with mortar.
For gable walls or particularly exposed applications, additional resin bonding may also be considered.

2 fixing dowels are recommended per coping stone.
